Microsoft BackOffice products are a suite of applications which are optimized for Windows NT/2000 and which help businesses perform critical computing functions such as e-mail, inventory management, database management, and more. The resources provided in these sections are designed to help Network Administrators to get product information quickly, and are not designed to be a definitive resource for any particular BackOffice product.
 
App Center
 Provides scalability and high availability for web applications running on Windows 2000 through clustering and load balancing/
BizTalk
An industry initiative started by Microsoft  that is designed to allow applications  to communicate with each other across a network or the web through data interchange standards based on XML

Exchange 2000
 Provides e-mail, messaging, and collaboration for businesses

Host Integration Server
 Permits the integration of existing mainframe application and database information into new Windows applications

Internet Information Server (IIS)
 Powerful web server which is now integrated as a service in Windows 2000.

Internet Security and Acceleration Server (ISA)
 An extensible enterprise firewall and Web cache server built on the Microsoft Windows© 2000 operating system security, management and directory for policy-based access control, acceleration and management of internetworking

Microsoft Operations Manager
Microsoft Operations Manager 2000 (MOM) is a comprehensive network monitoring solution that radically improves the availability, performance, and security of Windows 2000 networks and applications.

Proxy Server
An extensible firewall and Web cache server that provides Internet security while improving network response time and efficiency.

Site Server
Empowers users to publish, find, and share information quickly and easily. Features include extensive Search capabilities and tools to perform thorough analyses of your intranet's usage and effectiveness.
Systems Management Server (SMS)
 Allows for automated inventory management of workstations, software deployment, and remote troubleshooting for medium to large WANs. 
SNA Server
 Comprehensive gateway and application integration platform that seamlessly knits together the two worlds of mainframes and client/server networks
SQL Server 2000
